Hey! Pinkgo Girl! Sheet Face Mask also know as Apple Girl product review.
This skin care combo pack was purchased on amazon for $17.85+ shipping for 8 mask. The masks are made in Taiwan.
I recently started using asian brand sheet mask. I love the idea of individually wrapped portable mask. Masks are one of my favorite skincare steps. This also brought me into the world of the unique and interesting world of asian beauty products.
In this combo pack, I used three mask so far. Two of the sheet masks and one of the lace mask. That’s right, a lace mask!! This may be a recent, or starting to pick up trend. I saw cute packaging, lace, hydration, and next thing I knew the mask combo pack was in my online shopping cart and on its way to me. I had to figure out how to explain to my husband. I know, his esthetician wife is set on experimenting and bought herself new toys to play with. Whats the saying? Happy wife happy life.
The sheet masks are very thin in comparison to the few asian mask I tried. The benefit of their thin structure is the mask are easier to contour to your face. The downside, if you are not careful, they can easily rip. The mask are extremely saturated. When wearing you may experience serum dripping. I think the dripping is great! Extra product that can be rubbed into your neck and decollate(upper chest) area. Those areas really need love too!
The lace masks are an innovative concept! With this lace mask, you get the portion that goes over your face, then there are loops on the sides to secure the mask ends around your ears. Towards the neck, there is a horizontal strap connected to the face mask that lays under your chin with slits on either end to loop up to each ear as well. Giving a snug lift and fit. The benefit of the lace material, is to allow breathability for the pores as you are infusing the skin with serum. Another thing I love is, moving freely and doing whatever you need to do while the mask sits snugly on your face for 15-20 minutes. One downside is the quality of lace material. Pieces of the mask loosen and stick to your face while wearing and when removing. This can irritate sensitive skin. Also, picking off strings of mask is just plain annoying.
I like to leave my face mask on for a while, especially the hydrating mask. If the sheet masks are left on for too long, the cotton can harden due to its thin nature. The areas of the sheet mask that are end seams, I noticed are the first to harden. If that happens, please be careful with removing, especially around the eyes. I suggest rehydrating the mask with some water, and then removing it. This will minimize irritation and unnecessary tugging or ripping of the skin. Overall, my skin felt hydrated with no other noticeable benefits.
